Personal Development Questionnaire

........…the importance of values.

Send your completed form below for your free evaluation report.

Do you feel your life is in a rut and lacks motivation and fulfilment?  Do you find every year you are promising to make changes, however never quite get there or struggle to find the right road to get you to where you want to be? Are you satisfied with your life at the moment? Your life might include just doing the same old things that you have always done and live in that comfort zone, however do you feel you have everything you deserve right now? Would you like to learn how to create a life that directly reflects your talents and interests?

I am offering you a chance to begin this adventure. Just complete the following exercise and send it to me via the link below and I will send you a report that will get you walking in the right direction.

Your values indicate what you consider to be most important in your life and are reflected daily in how you choose to use your time.  When we establish our values, we can take back control of our own lives and work productively towards our goals. When we are not fulfilling our values we are allowing ourselves to be controlled by bad habits, impulses, accidental occurrences, emotions and self-serving motives. Your values do not just offer guidance, but they can inspire and motivate you, giving you the energy and a zest for living and doing something meaningful. They will be the source to reach your goals.

The following exercise will help you to identify your values. To help get you started in 2006, and to really achieve those goals, I am offering a free report detailing how to start you thinking about the changes you need to be making to achieve your goals.

Set yourself some time to do this exercise, your values are not always as easy to identify as we think.  It is also important to remember that our values are something that can constantly change and it is important that we review them regularly.

Values cover all aspects of your life, so you need to think about and consider every aspect.  Throughout the exercise below, I have offered examples to help get you thinking to answer the questions, however I may not have included something for everyone, so please ensure you add what is honestly valuable to you.

Question 1.

Thinking about the various areas of your life list down all the things you enjoy doing. For example, you may really enjoy playing golf or enjoy laughing or even working for yourself.  At this stage try not to think about what you do not get time to do or whether it is something you feel you are unable to do.  Free your mind and list the things that you honestly think would make your life more fulfilled. Think about the things you don’t want to be without in your life.

Once you have listed all the things you enjoy doing, state how often you do this activity, if at all, and just say why you believe you don’t do this or anything that may contribute to stopping you doing this or being this. The last box asks you to imagine yourself actually doing this - how does that make you feel? What does this give you? I have completed one as an example.

Example:

Activity:        Frequency:

Reason you believe you do not do this as much as you like.

Imagine you are doing this right now, what does doing this give you?

Question 2.

If I could give you all the freedom, all the time, all the money, what would you be doing?  What would you have in your life? What sort of person would you be? Take some time to think about this question. I appreciate that this is often a topic of discussion when you play the lottery, but seriously, think about what you would be doing, how you would be - genuinely from your heart.  If it helps, think about years to come…with all this, in three years and five what would you be doing?

Question 3.

What are your goals for the next year or the next three years? What things in your life do you want to change? What do you need in your life, work etc, to make it feel more satisfying?

Question 4.

What do you see as your main barriers in life? What are the things you feel are stopping you do the things you want to do, the way you want be etc.
